GS300 Wiper Arm Help, Please..
The snow storm shreded my wiper blades on my 1988 GS300 and I replaced the blades with Lexor severe weather baldes. They work well but the wiper arm no longer retracts to the bottom/old position. To replace the blades I stopped the arm in mid window position and just snaped in the new blades. Nothing is binding, they work well, they just don't go all of the way into the wiper recess any more. So where did I screw up????
Thanks for your help

This wasjust posted by a1exus not tooloing ago. The GS has two wiper positions: A. Winter B. Regular
In winter the blades will not go down all the way. TO fix this you must manually push the wipers down to their original position, even if it seems like it won't go.....it will.

wipers
The manual says "to shift the windshield wipers from retracted to rest position, hold the connection of the wiper arm and wiper blade and pull it upward along the windshield glass" position 1 is the rest position also known as snow position and position 2 is the retracted position. if you look in the manual it will show you pictures also.
