Default I am new here, and new to lexus

Hi all,

So I'm new here and I bought my first Lexus last week. It's a 2002.5 gs430 with almost everything on it. I really used the forum to guide my self when buying the car, what was the problem of those cars and what costs were to be expected.

I will try to contribute to the forum as much as i can. Right now I can tell you that I love my GS even though I had to put some cash to put it straight already lol.

I was a nissan guy. My first car was a 1990 240sx rust bucket, I started to drift with it when drift began in north america. My second car was a 1991 skyline Gts-t witch was used for drifting to nut was also my daily driver.

And my last car was a 2003 subaru forester witch was quite fun to destroy snow banks but that's pretty much it. so I had to change for something compfortable and sporty so I bought the GS430.

here are some photos. when I got it and what I've done so far.

here is my skyline:

My new acquisition!

I already changed the ball joints, tie rods and sway bar link kits. for now I will plasti-dip the wheels since the paint is chipped like I never saw before lol. next here will be a drop and some wheels. I found some good ideas on this forum about witch wheel I want. Anyways here is what I've done this week on the car.

I plasti-dipped the front grill and rear badges

I also buffed the headlight and it made the car look totally different

Thanks all

as for mileage it has 200,900 km witch would be approximately 125,600 miles. Not bad for a 10 years old car (feels like a 5 years old car for me lol)

And George how do you like you 430 so far?

nice ride. i got a black 430 too. i had a 300 before but sold it & i regreted & missed it after only a few months. so its why i got the fully equipped 430. been having it over a year now. i love everything about these 2gen GS's. body & interior. anyways, u should have chromed up that grill since u cleaned up those headlights really nicely.

I love that too the interior is perfect, comfort, style and equipment and it's also sporty. it's been 2 week an I feel that I will love this car for a long time.

and for the chrome, i'm not a big fan. I let the chrome molding surrounding the car alive but that's it
