I bought xxr 527's with my tax return a few months ago and for the life of me I can't save up the money to put tires on them...

Not knockin you or anything but whenever I've considered buying rims, I've always factored in what tires I'm gonna wrap them with. That's always been a "package deal" for me. Never bought one without the other.

yea lesson learned looking back I honestly could have found a decent set of rims/tires on craigslist and if there was any damage or anything I could have had them redone but oh well for now they look good in my room lol

Grab some decent used tires off craigslist. I always buy used tires until I finally decide what combo i wanna permanently run on new rims. Youll probably chew threw them anyways depending on your set up
