Default PCV Valve Question.

Is the PCV valve suppose to spin freely? Im in the process of troubleshooting the P0171 code and I was checking all hoses in the engine bay. Thanks.

Im sure your checking for vacuum leaks; but have you tried simply cleaning the MAF sensor, that may do the trick.

looking at fuel trims numbers will definitely help you with this.

This is what the code is from a AutoData website:

EOBD code: P0171
Fault location: System too lean, bank 1
Probable cause: Intake/exhaust leak, AIR system, MAF/VAF sensor, fuel pressure/pump, injector(s), HO2S
