Having My '99 GS300 Repainted - Tips & Advice Please

I'm finally getting around to posting a follow-up to my '99 GS300 paint job.
I'm happy to report that everything turned out better than expected. The car looks fantastic and new life has been put into this all-original daily driver. There are a few imperfections here and there, but are only noticeable when looking very closely.
It took my guy much longer than he originally estimated. Quite a bit of manual labor went into the job. The hood, roof, front bumper and spoiler had to be taken down to bare material. He took out several small dings and also re-painted the wheel wells black. Three coats of base, three coats of clear-coat. The color is original, Cinnabar 3N1.
I paid $600 for everything - including all materials and labor. I ended up getting a great deal. The paint and clear coat ran $300. So, I paid $300 bucks for my guy to do all the work. Not bad at all.
I refreshed the alloy wheels by re-painting them with silver Dupli-Color Wheel Paint. I changed out all the emblems from the old Gold ones to new, updated Silver ones. I repainted the front grill (black). I also did a headlight restoration job. All these things combined have made an incredible difference. I can't believe this car is 13 years old.
Thanks to everyone who replied to my questions early on about the painting process.
Now for the after photos....

$600 total is astounding. My last trip to my local auto body supplier for just the materials (clear, bases, reducer, hardener, patch panels etc) for three vehicle repair jobs was over $800 - I paid $45 for half a pint of code 199 factory silver flake for my 99 GS. It sounds like you have a really nice person working for you! Great posts and thank you for the super nice pictures.
