I sort of realized that no matter how much you mod your handling in your GS, it's that damn old person's seat that makes you slide left and right and still makes you a little insecure.
There is virtually no support in the drivers seat. It's almost flat across, which is comfy, but not supportive or sporty.
There is no body grip when you take tight turns, sometimes you feel like you'll just slide over to the passenger side seat with the amount of body lean (even if you car's handling is modded and very good).
The next GEN GS had better offer a Sports Package Option to address all our issues and minimize all this aftermarket installs we do just to make this car a true sports sedan!
Thanks for listening!

well personally i think they should just have a special sport package that will have sport seats, better suspension, tires, or even brakes
the reason is they still want the gs to be a sport SEDAN, so they probably don't want to do sport seats on all gs models that will drive people away

Just do the tightened seat belt trick or add on an aftermarket racing lap belt to lock yer butt into that seat. Even though a supportive seat will help, you might be surprised how much tight belts will help you focus on driving, instead of trying to stay planted in your seat.
I used a Simpson 3 inch wide lap belt when I used to autocross. I still had the factory shoulder/lap belt buckled over it.

the trick you talking about, is that just to first pull fast on the belt to make it into lock position before going to the canyon run?

Yup, but first move the seat back beyond your normal position and lock the belt, then move the seat forward while still holding the locked belt so it doesn't loosen back up.
It might take a couple of try's to get the tightness you want and still get your seat back to it's original position.
I almost prefer driving all the time with snug belts. It's strangely almost more comfortable to me.

I agree, for the sporting type, the stock seats need more side bolstering. I like the IS seats, but they are a lil too thin for me. The Acura CL-S seats as well as the G35 coupe have great seats, IMO. I find the SC 400 seat to be more comfortable than the GS.
