Default Continues to amaze

My 2000 GS400 is all stock and continues to amaze me. Drove back from Calgary to Edmonton last night 2:30 a.m. in the rain at 160kph most of the way. My wife and friend asleep, this great car just cruising along smooth, fast quiet. Amazing for a 13-year-old car. Keeping it as long as I can.

Appreciate the concern, the car is well-maintained, good quality new tires, and the roads here are flat, wide, smooth - and no traffic for miles that late and that far from the city. I find this car seems happiest at about 145-150kph.

I'm glad I don't drive anywhere near you. Why not have respect for the other drivers (read: human beings) on the roadways and slow down. I certainly do not want my family taken out by a speeding car. Certainly, 60 - 80 mph will get you there in good enough time. Just my 2 cents.

OP is in Canada, and they use kilometers per hour, not miles per hour. Kph <>Mph 160kph is still about 99mph, which is really fast. No good!
