98 GS300. The Audio controls on the factory stereo don't work anymore. I'd like to reset to factory specs. Will disconnecting the battery do it? I've tried unsuccessfully to play with the radio settings themselves by holding certain buttons and changing numbers but it didn't work.

Will the battery trick work? If not, what's my next step?

I know the battery will reset the preset stations on my radio. Not sure about the settings. By Audio Controls do you mean the **** and steering wheel volume buttons do not work?
