To tell you the truth guys, before I bought the first GS, the availability of this site had something to do with it. The information available here certainly is a tremendous resource. I can't say I cruise other marques web sites and chat rooms but if you look back at the recommendations given here, you have to wonder how many of the other marque owners (we all know the brands we are talking about) would give as honest and thoughtful answers as you all have. Just thought somebody should point out that this site is one of the things that the internet gets right.

If you like that, stick with that. Sounds like you are a big Mercedes person so I think you should spend the extra 10 G's on the E which definitely can't match the looks of the GS 4. But like you said, it is all about someone's desires ina car. Good luck with your whatever car you get.

Guy's, I was looking at the GS300, which starts around $38K. The E320 (smaller engine, but also a 220HP V6 like in the GS300) starts at $48K. With my buget, a $10K difference is HUGE! Hopefully the new GS will look newer/better than the current model, but wont be too much more $$$$

Yep, GS3 starts at around 39 base while the E3 starts at 47 base, of course these are before the deals that MB dealers are so known for. So the new E is nicer than the current GS3, just not 10K nicer. If the new GS3 even adds a couple of grand to the base, the differential to the E will....
So, is Lexus is more open to comments on improving design/content than MB is to lowering price? Duh.

I think it's just simply that different people like different things.
but once you drive a lex for a certain time, you will find out more you like than the first time you drive.

I've driven the E320 and the weight of the vehicle labors the engine real bad. The E500 is the "E" to get.
