Default Possible new GS430 owner needs a favor

Hey all. I'm looking at getting back into a 2GS again as a second car. (Daily Driver) I'm in the Army stationed in Kentucky and was wondering if any Ohio members would be willing to check a car out for me before I drive up and purchase it. I'm from Indiana so it's not to far from my home. But because of my schedule it would be nice if someone local could look at this thing for me and tell me if there's any major problems with it before I drive up there to get it. I looked in the regional section of the forum but didn't see anything for the Midwest region. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

David

I think the Great Lakes section covers Ohio. Good luck with your purchase!

Ha, I totally missed that. I just started using the iPhone app for the forum and I'm getting used to it. Yeah, I've got an E36 M as a project car and have been wanting to get back into a GS for awhile. Just something about the 2GS I love. I'm also looking at the LS's but will probably stick with the GS. Thanks for the help.

I sorta wished I looked at an LS, but I have a 98 GS4 and really like it. But the room would be nice, we took a trip recently in the GS and sure wish it was bigger...

Thanks for your service! I spent 8 years in the Army, 68J, 39CX5 (Firefinder DS/GS Tech).

Thanks guys. Yeah it looks pretty clean, and everything works on it. I was told it drives great but that it sometimes sounds like a belt is making some noise from the engine. The sales guy said he's not quite sure what it is.

I'm an 11c. Not sure if I'm gonna stay in or not. If I do I'm gonna take a Commission and probably switch MOS's over to SF, Psyops, or Intelligence.
