Althought there are vague claims of increased efficiency for both trd oil and radiator caps - IMO these things are both costmetic. They only make your car run better if you're running without an oil or radiator cap .

Here's a link to the TRD site for part number and fittment

http://www.toyota-trd.com/en/strt/e_oilfill.html

I'm guessing you have the 12180-SP020

Absolutely! Caps either seal or they don't. If the radiator cxap doesn't seal, you'll know soon enough by the rocketing temp gauge and the steam coming out from under the hood. That'll usually get your attention. Poorly sealing oil cap just means a mess under the hood along with (sometimes) some smoke from burn off. A little less of a problem than radiator cap.

Iow, they help about as much as all those Weapon R stickers and, of course, yellow duct tape striping.

Mine is not loose at all, not too sure what you have going on there. When I got my cap the TRD center logo was not attached. Once I screwed down the cap, I just peeled the sticker paper off the emblem and stuck it on to the cap right side up.

You might wanna check if your center emblem is even attached to the cap or it could possibly fall off from vibration. I thought I remembered a clear protective film attached over the emblem as well.
