Group 24F battery -- will it fit?
I was at Costco last night, and without realizing it, bought a Group 24F battery for my 430. Once I woke up from the drive home, I realized what I had done. The + and - poles are reversed on this battery, so the positive pole is on the left.
I called Costco this morning, and they DON'T carry the Group 24 (non-F) battery. The only way I can install it is if put it in backwards, which would leave a greater distance for the positive and negative terminals to reach.
My question is this -- are the battery terminal cables long enough to where they would reach if I installed this battery in the car? The car has been at home all day while I've been on the road, but was going to give it a shot tonight.
