hey, recently washed my car and decided to wash my engine with a light spray....noob move and bad idea i know please dont harass me about this....anyways started the car and was hit with a rough idle and shaking from engine as well as check engine light....from reading online,this usually happens when water gets it seems alot of ppl have made this mistake. the usual issue is spark plugs being flooded. i decided to give it a day to rest and it started fine the next day and drove a few miles no problem, removed battery cables for a min and then check engine light was gone. the problem is the next day im getting the rough idle again and the cel isnt on......one time when it was heavy rainfall this happened and after letting it sit for a day the idle was gone and that time there was no cel. so im assuming this time my dumb idea led to one or more spark plugs being flooded? help is appreciated.
