Default need help....diy fog light

Does anyone know how to turn on the foglights without the headlights on? I tried the search. I found the "diy fog light", but that link redirects me to some go-daddy domain crap. I appreciate the help in advance guys.

Thanks for the reply and the link bro. I have a ?....... the green and white wire that needs to be tapped from the fog light plug, after I tap into that wire do I plug it back into the harness? Or does it stay out of harness? Also, after I tap into it, does the wire run to the relay or does it run to a ground? The drawing schematic shows go to the relay but the picture showing everything installed with red arrows looks like its pointing to a ground wire???? Thanks again.

I believe the pin stays back inside the connector. That wire runs to one of the coil legs on the relay, it will have ground when you turn the fog lamp switch on.

Good luck

Just a data pt:

In college, I worked UPS at night. I warned one of my coworkers who I saw driving with only his fogs on a J car that I thought that was silly, espec as it risked a ticket or worse if headlights were req'd. Later, the dude ran into something on way to work with, again, just his fogs on.....and messed up both himself and car. Now....I'm dating myself, but I did have aftermarktet Hella fogs that I could enable alone and used perhaps -once- on a TSD road rallye to try and confuse a following car on a rural road (ie no tailights).

Plug back in the connector. Leg one on the relay is where you are going to hook up the wire that you ran from the tapped green/white wire. Leg two on the relay needs to go to a 12v source, and leg 3 and 4 goes back to it's original spot where you took the foglight relay out.
