Default Feels like 2 chicks in my car

My car is getting old now. Right near my clock, in the vent above my navigator screen there are some motors were turning slowly make a chick squeeching sound and sometimes clawing inside the dash. It still does it when all my AC was off or on and my car wasnt moving.
Does anyone know which motor is that? Can it be greased or replaced?

I believe it's the vent "servo motors" that are going out. If you do a search on here for vent servo motor there is a DIY on replacing/servicing them. Of course, also make sure there is no debri in the vents. I had leaves packing up on the air filter behind the glove box which helped but I still get a whistle at high fan speed (so that means there's some crap inside the ducts).

Even with the A/C / Fan off, remember that when the car is moving, there is air still pushing into the vents if you don't have it set to 'recirculate' mode which *might* be why you still hear some crap moving around inside. If it sounds like a motor then it's gotta be the servos for the different foot/face/defrost mode.

Thanks Sampak! You should be right.

I was sitting at the car not moving and I can still hear the sound coming from the Clock. I believe sound travels!
