Default New wheels...thoughts?

I got some new wheels put on over the weekend.

I love the way they look...plus they have good clearance for LS400 brake upgrade.

Thinking I should install RCAs in the front to drop it a bit and paint headlight housing black to help accent the wheels.

Any thoughts?

If your rear sits at that height all the time (not just on a decline) I would go with a 18mm RCA.

Keep the headlights chrome or get green tinted OEM's.

Overall, looks good.

Thanks. I am thinking RCAs instead of coilovers...I have KYB Shocks with Tien S-Tech springs. I'll keep my eye out for rear RCAs...I noticed there are a few for sale in the classifieds.

Yeah, that's how high the rear is...offset on the wheels is +40 in the rear so no rubbing and room for dropping it a bit.

Got PPE headers, new O2 sensors and mounts going on in the next couple of weeks

Looks good, as for the headlights I would leave them chrome. But its your choice

Thanks for the complements everyone.

I'll snap an eye level photo of the car so that for a better perspective of how the car sits.

I like the headlights, but something is needed to help accent the wheels, or its the height...for me something needs to be tweaked just a bit.

Well since the wheels are already bought, mounted and installed, I can't say much to help haha.

But anyway, I like those wheels. Only thing I'd have done different is go 1" smaller on the wheel diameter. For some reason most wheels that aren't a little deep dish or have a lip seem too big on the 2GS if they're in the 20" or so range. It seems the more I see larger wheels on a 2GS, the more they look gaudy. 18-19" with a lip or none, seems to be just the right size to not look to showy but still have an aggressive/performance IMO.

Looks good. You should be able to pull off some 10mm spacers in the rears wothout any fender modifications.

I can see your point. It's the tough balance of nice wheels, wheel design and drop of the car.
