I am looking at making a purchase in August and am a little troubled. On one hand I'd love the new GS330 however from all that I've read it doesn't seem as though it will be out until Fall 04'. Should I get an 03' GS300 or go for the Infiniti M45? Comments and reasoning would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you're okay with the exterior and can find an M45 with the options you want at the same price as a GS300 with the options you want (seems like the M45 is generally closer to the GS430 price than the GS300 price, though), then go for the M45.
Update: So I looked at carsdirect.com and an M45 with the options I'd want runs >$49K which is GS430 territory. Admittedly the M45 has a couple of things that the GS4 doesn't such as climate-controlled seats, voice-activated nav, and rear-view camera, but still you're talking about the same general price range. So unless you're talking about a barely-equipped M45 you might want to consider a GS430 as an alternative instead of a GS300...

If you are driving an 02 ES as your sig suggests, I'd definitely hold off either way.
If it happens that you don't like the new GS, there'll still be 2nd generation cars around for awhile. Lexus will probably begin showing the car at least 6 months, if not a year, before introduction. So, you should have some time to decide about the new look.
And the M45, while an old body style for Nissan/Infiniti, will still be early in its model life, so that option would still be viable also. Looks somewhat cramped compared to the GS just from eyeballing it, though.
If your sig DOESN't represent what you currently drive and you are in something that you really need to be out of, then life is a little trickier for ya, but I'd probably vote for the M, just because I'd rather have more power than less. But SCWells is corrrect in that the M is going to be closer to a 430, pricewise, than a 300. And if you can go that far, I'd get the 430 (again).
just mho, though.
