Default Help with buying tires

Morning all.

I brought a 2002 GS300 back in July for my birthday. It had 132K miles on it and had two owners. I'm in love with this car. It is charcoal gray and has the sports design. I brought it with it needing tires, timing belt and water pump replaced. My problem is that I don't know what kind of tires to get. I had a Civic before this and I only brought cheap tires. I don't want to go that route with this car because I plan on keeping it forever. LOL. Can you guys suggest some tires that are not cheap but not expensive? I'm in Atlanta so the only thing I have to worry about is rain. I believe the size is 225/60/16.

You might have the wrong size tires. Check the door sticker. Maybe 225/55/16? I'm not near a fitment guide right now.

Tire size should be 225/55/16. You can start with continental DWS, that's what I use. I've also read good reviews about the general Gmax, which is going to be my next ones.

stay away from firestone and bridgestone…i had bad experiences with them.

Michelin is pricey, but the best imo.

Goodyear and Continentals are good too….avg pricing.

Lexusfam and PHML thanks for the info. I checked and I guess a good tire will cost me between 100-120.
