Default P1125 oh no Dx

I got a p1125 code on my GS, and my car went into limp mode just as i turned into my school parking lot this morning, thank goodness. I just coasted it into the lot, I didn't really have any throttle response. What could be some issues for this? I don't want to spend 1300 on a new throttle body >_>

I'd suggest grabbing a copy of the shop manual and trouble-shooting.

I tend to buy parts like this off Ebay. Got a brake booster for my M3 for $30. BMW wanted $1000 for one. Just picked up a $500 oil cooler for my GS for $29.

The code is for the throttle control motor circuit. I would imagine the motor probably crapped out on you. You can buy it individually online for around $275, the part number is 89672‑30010.

Yeah but, this just means you should follow the trouble-shooting procedure before you blow $275. That code doesn't mean it's bad. It just means the computer thinks it might be bad.
