Looking for DIY thread- valve cover repl
I know there is a thread here somewhere about a DIY valve cover gasket replacement but after searching, I come up empty. Can somebody post a link to that thread if you can find it? Its leaking enough now that I have to get this behind me. Thanks!

1) Remove coil packs/plug wires/anything attached to the VC
2) Remove the VC and VCG
3) Clean surfaces
4) Replace in reverse order with new VCG
The only specialized thing you might need to know (hoping someone can point you in the direction because I don't have the info handy) is the torque ratings for the valve cover bolts. There also may be a specific order in which the bolts should be torqued. But, really, this isn't super important. Just make sure they're nice and snug and bear in mind the head is aluminum so don't over-tighten.
This advice and a buck fiddy will barely get you a tall coffee at Starbucks. Take it for what it's worth
