My new (used) 98 GS300
Hello all
New to the GS scene but not to Club Lexus, been an SC owner for a while. But now with my family number growing its time for something with more than two doors. Was really looking for a 2008 scion XB, but could not find one for a reasonable price, so I just so happened to come across this GS and the guy brought it to my mechanic's shop and everything seemed to be in order.
Here is a look when I first brought the car home

Now some interior shots and change that old steering wheel cover: side note* after the second day I discovered that the car had German Roaches in the back. I guess I would be mad and discused more if I wasnt in pest control for a living and it was easy for me to get rid of them.

On the third day caught two of those little buggers on a trap and here is what I uncovered after I removed the seat. Shame on previous owner..... coffee and jelly packets under seat that's just NASTY

Yeah the guy I bought it from said the front handles were broken so he replaced them with those, the broken green handles are in the trunk. He could of gone an extra step and just have the handles re-sprayed but I guess that would have reflected on the price.
So that's on my to do list:
1. Fix O2 sensor
2. Get rid of dents and have white handles sprayed
3. Maintenance (i.e. front suspension bushings, brakes, etc)
I may lower the car with lowering springs and new shocks/struts
The car came with an upgraded exhaust pans in the back when I looked under there, don't know the brand but I know its not stock. It has that nice deep tone that is not loud and overbearing
So don't really have to do much, because its a family daily but who knows what might happen
