Default The Dreadful Moment has come... CA smog.

Question is, will my car pass with a Tanabe Hyper Medalion Catback Exhaust (cat still intact) and a SRT intake?

Unless that srt intake is CARB approved, it should not pass.

No c.a.r.b. Sticker for intake=no pass. You can however just take the intake off, you can keep the exhaust on and it will pass.

It will pass the smog test fine but you may have a problem with the visual of the SRT intake. You need to take it to a shop that doesn't care about the visual stuff.

Is it test only station or just regular?

needa get this done soon.

my car is a regular smog, (last time I smogged it i was stock and passed with flying colors) AND i want it to stay that way (dont wan't to bring it to a place and not pass then be on record and I will have to go to a test only place)

The Exhaust should be fine then?

I don't mind swapping out the intake besides the fact that the ECU is chipped so I'd have to remove the chip before smogging it.

I had a fireball exhaust on and no issues. however the srt is a problem. because of the carb sticker. I had to take off my intake.

This^^ I had my car smogged last year with my SRT intake with no problem. The guy was even making conversation about the intake.

It just depends on the person doing the inspection.
