We got a nice snowfall (4-5 inches). Took the GS300 to work and it did really well. The snow mode makes a big difference as it kept the power reduced and kept me out of trouble. This was also with regular all-season tires (Michelin Primacy MX4's). I don't think snow tires will ever be necessary except maybe in a blizzard at which point I wouldn't be driving. Loving the GS which each passing day!

Today as I was going to work I spun while making a looong slide but luckily I had plenty of room to play.

winter tires with snow mode works very well here in MN snow. With added weight i was even able to launch without snow mode leaving most cars at the redlight 2-3 cars behind.
Does anyone know if possible to leave snow mode on and trac control off even after turning off the car?
Kinda of a hassle to turn on snow mode every single time you get into the car.

I'm on eagle gts and the car didn't do to bad. With the vsc off the car is a lot of fun, but with it on it does a great job of keeping the car in a straight line. It really comes down to tires. While i feel confident with the tires on it, I am installing winter tires friday as I'm in ski country a lot, but even with snow tires this car sucks on hills, most rwd cars in general do.
