Default Light Under Steering Wheel ?
What is the amber light under the steering wheel in my 2002 Lexus GS300?! [Please see attached photos]. There is no aftermarket theft deterrent alarm system installed in the vehicle. I cannot figure it out! Please help.

Foot well.. Your missing the cover..bulb is probably just dangling

Thank you for responding. I know that area of the car is a foot well but I remain confused about what purpose the light serves since it does not adequately luminate that area. The dealership told me it must be an after market addition... I don't get what it is! :-/

Try putting a new #74 bulb in there and see if that helps with illumination.
