Throttle body should be covered under the settlement. However the dealer will want to diagnose it first. If they determine it's not a covered part I imagine you would have to pay for the diagnosis. Title has to be clean.

it threw the p1120 but I know this code could mean that different sensors are messed up as I have read in other threads the tps the control motor and the pedal accelartion motor , I put in a new pedal sensor that did not fix the issue, and the issue was intermittent after I go it towed it worked fine , but then after 5 min of driving the pedal had issues went back to limp mode, who here has done the settlement thing it is a issues with the factory lexus throttle body 9i have a clean tittle to

The pedal sensor was replaced on my old GS after it had begun to act up. The problem was solved.

This code specifically names a open in the Accelerator Position Sensor circuit, a failed Accelerator Position Sensor, or a bad ECM (VERY unlikely).

There is no reason to start troubleshooting this issue anywhere but at the Accelerator Position Sensor.

I know this is an old thread but I'd better to share what I have experienced recently. The problem P1120 is often caused by the soldering crack at the soldering points where connector pins and the board is connected.

This is good to know. This happened to my GS and I was wondering what the cause was. I read through that massive VSC thread and saw a few people posting they replaced other throttle body parts to fix it.

My GS didn’t give a check engine light at the time.

Damn im hitting this thread with a Necro but you mean you were having the symptoms like surging throttle, no power until you hit like 3K RPMs and crappy idle? Im having this issue right now and I havent gotten a code but I am still feeling like this is the issue. Im going to plug in the scan tool and check the throttle position though before I pull it off.
