Default exhaust tips

has anyone changed their factory exhaust tips from another car? im looking to change out something more oval, ap2 tips are nice but it seems a lot of modifications

i took stock scion FRS tips and put them on my car for the time being. look better than stock but still stock looking. I'll get some pics for you. its nice because they install just like the factory tips but have a set screw to hold it on instead of just friction holding it on like the stock GS tips.

I have AP2 tips on my GS400 and I absolutely love them. The only modification you'll really need is a longer bolt for the tip.

that looks awesome! so you dont have to cut the pipes or anything?

Not at all. I used some large garden hose clamps in addition to the rubber donuts that hold up the muffler to bring the tip closer to the bumper. The best part is, it's all reversible and cheap.

I'm also using the AP2 tips biu I think the factory pipe was just a hair too small in diameter. So I hammered on a new pipe over the old one which also acted as an extension so it stuck out the just the right amount and no gaps on the inside
