Denso or NGK twin grounds are a necessity on a GS300 since the 2JZ-GE runs wasted spark. 3 plugs fire in reverse polarity and you'll see excessive wear on the ground electrodes.
ONLY for the 98-00 models. They changed spark plug in 01+ Idk what they changed in the engine, but this is true.
Still wasted spark. They switched to a Denso SK16R-P11. Possible that this plug had a ground electrode with better longevity, or they could have just changed the service schedule.

Personally, I would still use the twin ground.
Yes, the system is still wasted spark, but the spark plug (twin to single) was changed in the service manual. I purchased oem NGK.
