New 1999 2GS-300 here. Just bought her last night for $6k with 68k miles.

1. Exterior Color
- White
2. Interior color choice
- Tan
3. Major Options or special packages (Sport Design, etc)
- Sport Design (performance)
4. Audio Options (Nakamich/Mark Levinson or Pioneer)
- Dunno what ever it came with for now.....
5. Any modifications
- None yet but it came with a bra....
6. Anything you want to mention (others considered, previous Lex owner, etc)
- This is my first Lexus but my close friend in Japan when I was stationed there had a 1GS Aristo 2JZ-GTE. Was pretty fast and soooo comfortable. Future plans are to VIP it out and eventually share it with my teenage sons. Pretty lucky boys if you ask me!
7. If you are INTERNATIONAL, state which city/country your representing!
8. Post pics or links to your car (you can upload pics in our gallery)
- Here is the dealer pic since I have yet to photo bomb her!

Hello!

two weeks ago, I got rid of my Legacy Diesel and bought a Lexus GS 430. Two different worlds. The reasons as to why I changes car are manyfold, but generally speaking I am not a big fan of diesel engines and here in Austria, diesel engines are very common. Anyways:

1. Grey color
2. Black one with wood trim both in the door panes, central console and steering wheel. I love its archaic yet luxurious interior
3. No options there.
4. Mark Levinson (awesome!)
5. No modifications so far; but a front lip, a vinyl wrapping as well as a Remus exhaust are coming up. Also the summer wheels will be soon bought. Still doubting 17 or 18 inches.
6. That´s the best car I´ve ever had. What amazes me is that after 15 years, my Lexus equals or exceeds other premium brands in interior quality, performance and even fuel consumption. The other thing that makes me happy is the fact that the car, maybe with a couple of exceptions is quite a DIY, so no expensive shop visits programmed.
7. I am spanish by birth an nationality, I´ve spent the last 14 years of my live in Vienna, Austria. Married there and fathered a boy and a girl.
8. No pics yet. The exterior of the car was not in its best shape when I bought it, ugly and wasted 16 inches rims so rust in the fenders and the paint lost already its gloss. I´ll be invention around 1500 Euros to repair it. Interior though looks like new.

Very happy to join this forum!

Bluebeard.

Hello,

Picked up a high mileage older gentleman owned 1999 GS 400 as an end of year thing!

Exterior Color:
Gold

Interior Color:
Tan

Options: It has everything minus the Nav and Nakamichi / Mark Levinson ( Cold Weather, HIDs and what other little options the car has)

No Modifications on the vehicle so far. It is completely bone stock!

This car has 235k miles on it and runs just like it is new. Well maintained and has the record to boot. We are really enjoying the car. It does have a few cosmetic thing that can be replaced such as the leather on the arm rest and the two pink red tail lights. I will get the pics up shortly once I figure out which web host I want to use.

Looking forward to all the tips to keeping this car on the road for the foreseeable future!

Hi, new to forum. Hope more experienced people can help me with maintenance and upgrades on my newly acquired 2002 GS300. The car is silver with gray leather interior. It has 95,000 on it. I have put a grom audio usb and Bluetooth adapter in place of the factory cd changer. It is stock otherwise but the struts are new all the way around as well as the caster arms. OEM parts used in these places.

1. Exterior Color - Black
2. Interior color - Grey
3. Major Options or special packages - No spoiler, no sunroof
4. Audio Options - None... OEM Lexus Unit (is it pioneer?)
5. Any modifications - Powdercoated OEM 16" wheels

I've got a 2005 gs300 with 76k. Came in on trade at our dealership and I did the timing belt and water pump. Incredibly clean car/low mileage. Probably looking to flip it soon.

Can't believe how clean the interior is in this thing

Talking New to Club Lexus and my 2000 GS300

I just wanted to say hello! I am Buzz and I just purchased a 2000 GS300 in Crystal White Pearl with a beige interior. I was a long time owner of a 1993.5 Anthracite Metallic Toyota Supra and my username on Supra Forums was Bone_Stock_Supra. I sold my baby back in 2010 and have been without a toy since then. Anyways, my Lexus has about 149K on her and I will soon tear into the brake/suspension/wheels. The only thing I have had to do to her so far is replace the entire exhaust as it was completely rusted out due to road salt and living up in CT for an extended period of time. Went with a customer 2.5 stainless with high-flow cat and magnaflow mufflers and tips. I will post pictures when I can. Looking forward to posting on the Forums and thanks for having me!

hello I am new the the forum. I own a beige 1998 Lexus gs300.. She is all original. My mistake is that I allowed my son to drive it for the past year. Lets say it is not the way I gave it to him. I just purchased a new upgraded engine and trans. I am hoping to get it in soon. That is one of the reasons I joined this forum, looking for some help with the upgrade.

Default Volvo Convert

Hello!

For the last 23 years I've been a Volvo enthusiast, having owned three pre-93 models and *almost* achieving 500k miles on my 1993 240, handling all mechanicals myself except tranny internals and AC evac. I say almost because a tool in a BMW SUV tried to fit it in my trunk while I was stopped at a red light. Didn't quite. Final odometer: 496221.

My quest for a suitable 240 replacement was in vain, so I cast my net for another marque that would provide me the same kind of driving/mechanical experience. At the recommendation of a car dealer friend, here I am.

I take delivery of the vehicle this evening.

2003 GS300
Millennium Silver Metallic over Light Charcoal
Chrome wheels
106k
one owner
bone stock and clean

Looking forward to this experience. I hope this board is as active and helpful as brickboard.com has been for my Swedish steel.

I have yet to see a 240 with that high of mileage, most likely due to the fact that all of their odometers break. I had a 1995 850 GLT many moons ago; it was a great car!

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your GS300.
