Hello, I’m Kenny nice to meet you all. I always wanted a GS300 after seeing a couple GS300 at car shows for example the GS300 that was apart of Team Menace for a long time and other friends who own GS300s. I finally got GS300 in 2021 from my friend who was willing to sell it to me since he wanted to see it go to a good home instead of being tore up and mistreated. I drive a Static 2001 Lexus GS300 with 179k miles. I bought the car like this before you judge me. It’s a work in progress and I’m excited to make my vision happen.
1. White 2. Tan 4. Removed the Mark Levinson system since it went out on me then added a JL Audio CP108LG-W3V3with a Sony double din XAV-AX5500 with car play/android play 5. Mods: Tte lip, Serial 9 arms up front , Shortened knuckles (no clunk), Serial 9 rear uppers with camber adjustments,Battle version traction links, Figs LCA, Broadway static coil overs 36k spring rates all around, Work Schwerts sc2 19x9.5 +3 19×10.5 -8 6. I bought this car from my friend as is. It’s a work in progress and will be built the way I want it to look but for now it’ll stay like this once I collect the parts I need. Not new to the forum but new to the 2GS as my 3rd Lexus. A bit late in posting but a little over a month ago I found a 2002 GS300 in Midnight Pine Pearl for $1250 local to me. P.O. thought it had a blown head gasket but it was actually overheating due to the top tank on the radiator separating and leaking. Of course it's needed plenty of other work at 228,XXX miles courtesy of being neglected but it's a fun car overall. Definitely inferior to my LS overall but I like the way it handles a lot and don't mind keeping it if it takes a while to sell. Check the marketplace for it if you're needing to scratch your 2GS itch.

Hello, new forum member here. I recently purchased a 2003 GS300 with around 218k miles on it, well maintained. It is black exterior, black interior with cognac leather and woodgrain. It is the sport design edition with original audio and is currently stock but looking to change that soon.

New to the Aristo I have only had the car for about three months, so I’ve been lurking around this forum a little, only fair I say hello.

Came with tint and the ugly wheels but brand new tyres, otherwise completely standard.
So far i purchased and fitted a set of Ohlins DFV Road & Track dampers, changed the plugs, new valve cover gaskets, oil and filter, new front pads and machined the discs, new radiator top tank and flush, replaced the throttle body motor as it was going into limp mode on WOT and changed all the interior globes for LED.
I am now in the process of rounding up everything for the BPUs and also some more maintenance while I’m at it.
Been sourcing things from everywhere some new some second hand, so far I have ordered but not fitted.
•NGK BKR8EIX plugs
•Kbreak Sniper mufflers x2
•Greddy Profec oled boost controller
•Greddy Emanage Ultimate piggyback ECU with splice in harness (don’t need it for the BPUs also I am not sure if I want to use it)
•Japanese Monster brand Intercooler, core is approximately 55cmx30cmx4cm with 3inch outlets (can’t find any info on it, it suspiciously looks like an eBay cooler)
•Walbro 255LPH Pump
•HKS Timing belt
•New timing belt Tensioner and bracket
•Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and gauge Still need to order or sort out:
•K&N or HKS panel filter for the standard airbox
•Coolant over flow relocation
•Power steering pump cooler relocation
•Fittings and lines for the FPR
•USDM 550cc injectors
•Exhaust guy will make the 3 inch decats, 2 inch restricter plate, 3inch mid pipe, then split into twin 2.5 inch pipes, 2.5 inch resonators x2 and fit it to the Kbreak mufflers (got a feeling I will have to cut the bumper to fit the twin tips)
Also got him doing the intercooler piping and fitment.
•New Serpentine belt ordered.
•Looking for a decent priced water pump
•Might drop the transmission oil soon and chuck on a cheep oil cooler.
Has a slight knock in the rear when going from reverse to drive I also sometimes hear it when i take off from a standstill, I have a feeling it’s the diff bushings, need to order some solid or polyurethane ones.
ARS delete, some more Nolathane bushes and wheels are last on this list.
Get it all fitted, drive it for a bit and see what the next weakest link is.

Just bought my first lexus. It's a 2000 gs300 in spectra mica blue. 260k miles. Texas guy here and newbie. Pioneer radio. Not much else to day besides its originally tan interior but now black not my work. Plans are old racer or vip not 100 percent yet but plan on body kit and wheel swap to white wheelz
