Kbb or Nada for buying used gs300 ?
I am looking for a Gs300 and i found one on Craigslist. It is 2000 model and has 138k miles on it and list for $7.5k ( it is Platinum Edition and condition is look great on pics ) . What should you pay for it ? Should i follow KBB or NADA for the price to offer ? I offer him $500 more than Kbb value but he wants NADA value which is so much higher than KBB.What do you think ?

Depends on u if u want to pay that much for it. Remember the car has low miles and if it's well maintained u can't go wrong with the car. But make him an offer. If he doesn't accept it well move on.

The ad doesn't say anything about the ball joints, a known weakness on 2Gs. Nor does it mention the 2 cam seals and the crank seal. The VVT-i cam pulley will probably begin to leak soon if it hasn't been rebuilt/replaced. Lastly, there is no mention of the valve cover gaskets. Time for those too. You might want to cost these items out and use that information as a bargaining tool. You're easily talking over a grand.

Honestly it's clean as could be.
-platinum
-black leather
-nicest wheels that come on the Gs ( in my opinion)
-plenty of recent maintenance (aslong as he has paperwork)
Now on to the negatives.
-You can get a gs430 for that price
-not a 1 owner (atleast he didn't say it was in the add)
-PRICE in my part of the country that price is WAYY off
-servos
Like offbad said 5k at the very top .Assuming paint is perfect,no rips or tears on the interior, servos aren't acting up,and if the guy isn't a complete tool id pay 5

Take it from someone who has a 300, get a 430 if you can find it. A 300 comes a dime a dozen outside of white/saddle SD. The gas mileage is darn near the same. I passed up a 430 because I though that the V8 drunk more gas just to find out after joining HERE that the mileage was about the same. I would not pay ~8k for a car that's going on 15 years old. I'm from Alabama so the GS3's come a dime a dozen in GA. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't purchase any GS older than the 01+ models. Servos are bad on the 98-00 models.
