New member from Canada saying hi, eh! =)
Hey Club Lexus and fellow GS owners!
Fist off, I'd like to say thanks to everyone on this site who takes the time to keep it up and running and post valuable information for us all to learn from. There has been countless times I have gotten information from the threads to fix stuff, mod the car, do routine maintenance, and to find out just how great the GS can be!... So Thanks!
Been on the site for 2 years now since I owned my GS. I've always wanted a GS but could never afford one lol. Got a deal 2 years ago on this 1998 GS400 with approx. 240km. (has 270km now). I initially didn't consider going the V8 route but when I took this baby for a test drive I was like 300 what? lol . This is the nicest car I've ever owned and despite it's age I think it's better than a lot of the other junk these days! haha. She's not perfect and needs a few things here and there but she's perfect to me! lol
Anyways, thought I'd share some love from the great white north... Included some pics, the car is relatively stock asides from the obvious mods I did (lip, chromed grill, led tails, intake, etc). In addition, I've done most of the routine maintenance (suspension parts, tune up stuff, fluids, etc). Next up is definitely a drop on some coils, illuminated door sills, hopefully a LSD, power steering pump is going , and of course other routine maintenance.
Got the car with the extra wood grain (not really a fan but was done correctly so it looks clean), the chrome moulding around the fenders (which have to go but I'm afraid paint will come off with it!). And came with some nice Magnaflow mufflers which add some nice exhaust notes.
Enjoy!....

welcome to CL and your GS4 looks clean. i actually think the woodgrain faux dash kit looks good on the all black. sounds like you got it all under control with maintenance too. and that chrome fender trim should come right off, look under see if its drilled or clips. if neither, its adhesive and should peel right off with a little bit of heat gun on it. may leave a little residue to remove but if anything the paint under it should be pristine not damaged
