State Farm is another company that will try to pay only for non oem parts. Watch those guys..

I am leaning towards Geico. Right now, I have Nationwide and they really uncut State Farm when I picked them up three and a half years ago. Geico wasn't able to compete at the time but now they are looking real good.
How accurate is their online quote?

Lexus Champion
The 10 most expensive 2002 vehicles to insure are:
Mitsubishi Montero Sport
Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
Lexus GS 430
Cadillac Escalade
BMW 7 Series
Honda Civic Coupe
Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
Mitsubishi Mirage Coupe
Toyota 4Runner
BMW 5 Series
Why do you guys think GS430 is third... I don't get it... I'm sure they didn't count BMW M cars, MB AMG's, S4/S6, but still this is insane. We should see more SUV's and Sports Cars in the top ten.

Crazy prices?!?!?
I live in Maryland. My wife pays $600/yr for 500/500/500 coverage and $100 deductibles for comprehensive and collision to insure her '98 ES300.
My 2001 GS430 with the same coverage is $800+/yr. I'm astounded at the rates people are mentioning. One of the reasons that my wife went with Lexus over BMW was because our insurance price quote was 2x as much for the BMW... when she read the JDPowers ratings, that put the nail in the BMW coffin ;-)
I don't know the extent of their regional coverage areas, but we use Erie Group Insurance. Our branch has great customer service... we even have our home owner's insurance through them as well. They do NOT insure anyone under 25 (unless you are the child of an individual that already has Erie) and they will not take you on unless you have a spotless driving record. This is, of course, why their rates are so low.
For anyone out there that meets these criteria, you might consider calling them for an estimate... you might save some cash.
