Default Low oil pressure light cause?

I just picked up my 2000 gs400 from the body shop where it had some paintwork done, and on the way home the low oil pressure light came on. It's never come on before while driving and I have recently about 3 weeks ago changed the oil & filter w/ Penzoil Platinum 5-30w synthetic.

I checked the oil level and it is fine, however I did notice that there was a bit of smoke? come out when I checked the dipstick as though it were really hot? My dash temperature gauge was normal.

I'm trying to figure out whats going on, the CEL is not on or anything else. Could it be a clogged oil pick up screen or any clues? I shut the car off and not running it until find something out, worried maybe the oil pump died or that oil is not be circulated somehow.

Thanks for the help in advance...

It's probably your oil pump going bad. My old GS430 did that. Smoke would come out of the oil fill cap. That is not good. You never want to let it get to that point.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not finding to much info on oil pumps being replaced on this forum, did you diy the oil pump change or take it in to a mechanic?
