Default Water entering trunk in amp area

I have now killed two Nakamichi amps with suspected water damage. I could never find any water in the area around the amp until today when I finally removed the trunk lining around it and could feel moisture on the amp casing. There was not alot of water, but clearly it was enough to get inside of the amp.

Everything in this area looks normal to me. The only thing that seemed odd was that I could easily pull the sunroof drain tube out of the grommet that it goes through in the trunk floor. Is it supposed to be loose like that?

From the best that I could tell, moisture is entering through that large oval vent with the flap inside?

Here are photos from the area after I removed the amp. Any help is appreciated!

Make sure there is no hole in the drain tube first, then take a rubber band and place it around the drain tube and position it where u need it to be, the rubber band will secure the hose from slipping and being loose, also make sure to the right of the hose that that other rubber grommet is not loose, silicone can be your best friend trust me...

I didn't know that tube was a drain for the sunroof? However, I have noticed it before and I too noticed how easy it moves in and out. I think that's how it is. I was worried about that as well. haven't checked for water recently though. Maybe I should.

Try pulling the rear windshield molding/trim where it meats with the c pill and inner quarter panel and trunk and make sure the seem is properly sealed.
