I want to install q45 projectors on my gs, my question is do the projectors have lights in them already? or can i put my hids in them or how does this work..

Q45 projectors use d2s bulbs. If you have an HID kit currently you should just need new bulbs in the correct size (d2s).

If you have stock HID's you can modify the projector like I did and use your stock d2r bulbs.

you are gonna need to buy a set of d2s bulbs like someone said above and for our cars we have brackets for the Q45 projector that makes the job very easy. hit it tony from luxurymods to get you a pair. good luck on your retrofit
