My 300 was smoked by a Toyota Camry and Accord (both v6) off the line and on the freeway never knew those 2 cars were that fast. I love this car though, never owned a car as smooth as this. In the future, I want the Silver 05 430 with black interior, while I still have my 300.

I wasn't going to put down the 300 owners but since you said that, its true. At the time, I was looking at GS's (when they were new). I had Maxima 190HP V6. I test drove the GS300, though smooth and refined. It wasn't enough juice for me. My '98 Maxima v6 with 190HP can outrun the GS300 back then. People say they don't care about power but Its needed to drive in hwy traffic unless you drive like driving like Grandpa.. Everyone that I knew that had a GS300 (wish or secretly wished) they had GS400. Not gonna lie.. its Truth.. Sorry if some of you 300 people are getting all butt-hurt over a known fact.

Dude are you really arguing over a 300 vs. 400/430? Quite lame. Both are great cars and the low end torque on the 300 is good enough for passing. I call you completely BS where you're stating that the 400/430 motor is more reliable than the 300. Can you provide FACTS that the 300 motor will fail before the V8 because I know quite a few 300 owners over 300k miles, which screams high reliability to me. And let's be honest, the 400/430 is only putting out ~240 hp at the wheel, so we are not talking about snap your neck hp lol. And btw, I'm not butt hurt lol. If I could do it again I would've purchased that 430 a couple years back...but my supped up 96 impala fills the true HP void.

This you from another Thread, Am I wrong?
OP, if you can find a good condition 430, go for it. I have a 300 that I love but ONLY bought the 300 because I came from a gas hog Q45. I found out afterwards that the 400/430 gas is very similar to the I-6. It's quick enough for me, but I would rather have the 300 hp to be honest. Plus the 430's are more rare.

(SaiyanGS3) I have owned my GS400 since New for 15 years now. With that comes alot of experience that you obviously don't have. You owned a GS300 for what a year or two.. Tell me how you know the 400 more than me? All of my friends own their GS4's in the Southeast from new as well and honest to god the GS300 is a nice car but a Joke compared to the GS400.. I never thought an Auburn Engineer is this closed minded..

The 07-10 model Camry, and a 08 Accord. On the freeway, I was at 90 going on 110 cause I saw a Camry coming up trying to get in front of me, thought I had it but it slowly kept pulling away and eventually got in front and kept going. I was pushing my pedal to the floor. Accord wasn't that bad since I can keep up a bit. 2010 Maxima just left me, that thing flew.
I never regretted my 300 one bit. Its my first Lexus and its fast enough for a 13y/o car. Coming from a 97 Oldsmobile 88, its a huge improvement. I could've waited and kept looking for the 430's, but I got tired of taking the metro bus.
