License plate light lens - fogging....remedy?

Wow Really! I just bought these, now I'm regretting it. Would spraying it with clear coat help prevent the lenses from hazing? How was the light output, was it pure White without any blue? I might end up making my LED circuit if its not up to my likings anyway.

They Arrived, and are obviously bright; whiter than I expected and no blue tint. Before installing them, I'll get some clear coat and spray the lens to prevent it from turning yellow.

Installed and looking nice. Took about 8 in a half mins(remove top portion of the panel bent it out of the way to get to the 4 nuts, squeeze 2 white clips and the plastic piece is loose). Fits perfectly, just when connecting the left side I had to pull on the wires a bit to stretch and reach the connector. But here it is:
