Default Turn signal switch clicking crazy

Has anyone had the problem with the turn signal just clicking like crazy in a certain position? It does it in he neutral position and I have to nudge it to make it stop clicking.

Is there a fix or do I have to replace this thing?

Thanks in advance

it turned out to be a pretty easy fix (so far. not a single issue today)

just take the switch apart at the base and clean the contact points. there was carbon build up from years of use. clean and put new electrical grease and its good to go

this should help anyone thats willing to save some money.

I'm having a similar issue too actually but just a bit different, whenever I hit my turn signal to go left, it flashes my fog lights off then back on... Even if I don't turn my signal on, but push down slightly it will flicker my fog lights, anyone seen this or know what's wrong? I've got a spare GS I was parting I could take the whole unit from but if not necessary then...

I've never experienced that fog light flicker. I wonder what the problem would be.

But I do have a pic of the switch taken apart. I'll post that. The DIY is really simple though.

Never did huh? Dam mine is getting worse and worse. Sometimes I was able to put my signal on without it flickering, now it flickers everytime, such a burn it happened a few nights ago to a cops face, thought he was going to role me for sure... Wonder what he was thinking...

I would replace the switch....i got a brand new one from rock auto for 75 + shipping. Not a bad price at all, i replaced mine due to a loose headlight switch, felt like it was about to fall off.

I have a spare lexus I've been parting that I want to take the blinker out of, but problem is, the car is no longer capable of receiving power, and the telescoping of the wheel is up and in as it would be when the cars off, so I can't get to the screws I need to access to remove the shrouding, to get to the switch.... Think I'm going to just break it off and call it... Lol I need that blinker
