Default sunroof issue, wont open.

I haven't used my sunroof since about October... so like 7-8 months... today I tried to open it and nothing, no sound no movement nothing. I was wondering if it could be a fuse [don't know the location] or the switch... or if its the motor.... what would be a good way to trouble shoot the possibilities. Thanks in advance.

Dam, that's a good question, I'd def. Start by finding the fuse. Or actually hold up, let me see if I have anything for that in AllData I can post up for you

Okay so system not operating it's says suspected areas should be:
-S/Roof Fuse
-ECU-IG Fuse
-Sliding Roof Control switch
-sliding roof gear assembly with ECU circuit.

Let me know if you got any questions. If you need any parts I've got it all, I'll sell you whatever you may need for peanuts man.... Just PM me, but have you tried maybe putting some sort of lube around the trim? One that won't hurt your paint, it could just be stuck man... But check the fuse first. I notice when I don't use my tilt in a long time, when I do, it makes a separating sound from the rubber because they've bonded together from heat an all but it does separate.... I dunno just thinking of anything for you to try

My best bet, it's the fuse or switch.

My guess if it's not the fuse is probally your switch, take it out and make sure the contacts are clean, hopefully u don't have a small sun roof leak that damaged the control...

Are these fuses in the kick panel or under the hood?
