Default Anyone know how to take the plug out of the alternator

It's been 2 days now iv been trying to take this frikin plug out of the back of the alternator, my thumbs are cut up... Iv broke the back of the clip with vice grips i just dont know what todo anymore, it just doesnt want to come out. im getting sick of this car cause the simplest parts are still so complex a 10 minute job turns into an hour, when i say this is a pain, i am being litteral,my hands are cut up and bruised from trying to take this effin plug out, i need to get this alternator to the shop within 3 hours and the only thing stopping me is this plug.... The DIY i read said the plug was as easy as pie to get out but its really not, even the maf sensor plug on the intake took alot of force to get out this alternator plug is just stupid, id rather take out 100 10mm nuts to take the plug out rather then this stupid cheap plastic plug, im honestly about to sell the POS if it gives me another problem, rebuilding my chrysler 300s engine was more simple then taking the frikin stock ml sub out of the deck lid. Can anyone she some light?

Sometimes if you push the connector in first then pull it out it will come out easier. You probably have have a bit of corrosion or maybe dirt in the connector.
