Car died
Greetings all....
I was on my way to the dealer to pick up new spark plugs and wires for my "Nina" when she just died. I was turning into the shopping center when everything shut off suddenly.
My battery is two months old, I have had everything replaced on my car between 2010 and 2014 excluding the alternator. From what I have read that may be the problem since the car is 9 years old.
Please help.

Yea the alternator will cause it to die while your driving. The time will sometimes look halfway visible thinks like that. If the battery has to keep being jumped out that a strong sign of it being the alternator...I'm not sure about the gs300 but I haven seen a bad main relay do that too

Was the battery completely dead? If the alternator failed the vehicle would most likely run until the battery died. If you have another car to jump start it with, try . It will most likely start then die when the jumper cables are disconnected. I would start by making sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. These cars start going haywire when those cables are loose or dirty.

Put gas in it :P
Did you ever notice the radio shutting off or lights flickering on the inside? That happened to me when my Alternator was bad. I got a jump which got the car going again but slowly my battery started draining due to the alternators low charging. Check the battery cables first though.

Also, check your battery terminals for corrosion and make sure its tightened down correctly in order to get the right amount of spark. I had this ongoing issue and it simply turned out to be my terminals(they looked new, but i replaced them anyway). Good Luck.
