Personally, the most I would pay would be around 11.5k - 12k for a super low mileage, 2005 GS430. What I would pay would go down from there according to the year, mileage, rarity of the 2GS in question. $13k and up and there are a lot better options, newer cars, etc. The exception would be a RHD Aristo of course.

Buying a low mileage gs is the most retarted thing ever... They last forvever might as well get one over 120k so u can be sure everything that needed to be changed was already changed. It's not a bmw. Miles don't matter bro

You need to replace the timing belt at around 190k - 200k just like you do at 90k. Are you saying you would buy a GS at 120k miles and NEVER change the timing belt ever again? If money was no issue, I'm sure 99% of the people here would take a 20k mile GS over a 120k mile GS. If you're suggesting that, from a $$$ standpoint, it makes more SENSE to buy a 120k mile GS because it costs less and you're still getting a lot of car, then yes, I agree a 120k GS is a better deal. But it's going to eventually need maintenance just like the 20k mile GS.

But also gotta take into account such a low mile model will typically have near perfect paint, leather still looks brand new and just the overall condition of the car

Of course. Why pay more for a lower mileage gs when miles on this car don't matter and most gs with low miles never even changed struts or ball joints. Better believe you'll get much more car for your money buying a well maintained 120k + miles GS then buying a fairly new low
Mileage gs with all the needing maintenance coming up in its near future. You can't even compare 200k miles because the price difference between a 60k gs and 120k gs justifies everything

If the difference is a grand or two at most then that's something to think about because some irreplaceable parts will be newer ie: tranny, interior, paint... And that extra 2 grand might be worth having a newer car

You made a blanket statement that "buying a low mileage GS is the most retarded thing ever." It's not. If you get a good deal on the price then it is well worth it. Otherwise, buying a GS with higher mileage and lower price is usually going to be the BETTER deal all around. I agree though that most low mileage GS are way overpriced.

Yes I should have been more specific but 99% of low mileage gs are over priced and under maintained since they're so new. Anyone is better off saving thousands and buying one with higher miles but more recently changed parts. Trust me I learned the hard way and bought a low mileage gs430 like an idiot and had to change everything right when I got it since it was a 90k vehicle nothing was ever changed not even ball joints. Yes my car looks newer then most gs on the road but is it worth the extra 4k I spent on low miles? HELL no. so learn from my mistake and find a well maintained high mileage gs. You'll be very happy and so will your pockets...
