Saw this while browsing and it really tempts me, would like to get an 01+ gs with black interior like mine, and the mileage is so low, still think they're over pricing by a few grand though..

Seeing that its from the "great frozen north", I WOULD NOT buy that car for any price. Rust sucks.

$6-7k cdn, what's so great about it? low mileage? That doesn't mean much on these cars

Why not just buy all the little 01+ interior parts? they pop up for sale pretty often and really make a big difference

Yeah I've swapped grilles to the newer version, would like to buy a lower mileage lexus at some point though, either another 2nd gen GS or 2nd gen IS.. btw I live in MN and my car is daily driven in the snow, there's not a speck of rust anywhere, nor any paint fading, I really haven't seen a GS that had much rust either.. I try to wash my car especially frequently in winter though

When I think of the cars you could buy with 15 grand, a GS300 does not come to mind regardless of the low mileage. Delete the thought from your mind immediately. LOL

Lol hell no it's not even an option, I wouldn't even take a low mileage 430 for 15k

I'm assuming you would be trading in the other Gs. If so I would only pay $7000 tops. So $11,000- $12,000 range in all. And I would only buy it if I had no intentions of ever selling it. There are better cars for that kind of money, but you like what you like. Good luck on your decision.

I wasn't considering paying anything near 15k for it, if it got down around 8ish I'd probably consider it
