Don't know if that applys to you but maybe it's twisted hence why it's still bringing up the code? Hence why they put this Technicians side note?
Thats only required if you have already connected it or spliced it in. Personally i would thread it in first, then feed the wire to the cabin. However, if that wire is a bit twisted, it does not matter.
