Wassup 2 Gen family been here Ghosting the forums with my last GS and got a ask! How Much are your area dealers charging for Master and Valet key plus reprogram? Got quoted 1 price over phone and Service department in person gave me the 2 minute *********a excuse my french! 2x phone quote and then sum? !?! Anybody had done in the past 2 years for reference? Look on craigslist or find a locksmith that does it. The dealer is the stupidest place to go for that their prices are at least double of anywhere else, If not triple

A new key was made and programmed at a Toyota dealership just before I bought my car last month. Receipt says $450 (Canadian) for 1 key and fob.

Thanks for the response guys! I found my key today after months of lookin! I will share my findings on replacement keys from various dealer's. Herring Gear Lexus of Jackson:$865 Sewells $630 Mobile Lexus told me 98-99 GS ecm must be pulled and replaced! No reprogram! Quote $1675-2250 depending on the vin and that's not even the keys included? ??? WTF I am Thanking God very much today! Hopes this info helps. And thanks again guys! Going to paint next week.
