GS300 Rear Tail light bulb question?
Hello
I have a question for forum regarding GS300 year 2004 rear bulb light. I was changing one of the brake light that I noticed something strange. Looking at the picture, light bulb number #3 and #4 as identified by Tail/stop light and Tail light respectively in the Manual, are the same exact bulb model number Sylvania #7443. This bulb has 2 built-in elements. One is controled by brake pedal, which is brighter and the other one is just for tail light and is controlled by light-hand near steering wheel. My question is the brake element of bulb #4 which is identify as Tail light , never being used, if that’s the case why Lexus put a dual element bulb in location #4? I am sure there is a reason, but I have not figured it out yet
? I was hoping somebody clear this for me!
