Thumbs up Next generation GS

Just in case you have not had this information

NEWS February 13, 2003
The future Aristo: 350 hp V6 engine
As it is already known, the following generation of powerful Toyota Aristo sports sedan will appear in September of this year. Instead of inline six, new car will receive the same V-shaped six-cylinder engine as next generation Crown sedan. With application of the new V6 engine vibrations, noise and toxicity of exhaust gases will decrease. Due to reduction of engine length the weight distribution will improve and interior size enlarge. As for the handling, it will improve due to centre of gravity moving to more optimal position. As expected, all these changes will not have an effect on the new car's price.

New Aristo will be equipped with three-liter engines of two types - turbo charged and normaly aspirated. The normaly aspirated engine similar to the one used in future Crown will produce 250 hp. The variant with twin turbo charger will be for Aristo exclusive use with presumable maximum power around 350 hp. With 280 hp restriction question still not solved by Japanese Ministry of Transport, it is possible that 350 hp figure will be official.

Question

That info. is for the Japanese domestic market right. Not U.S.
New GS is spring of 2004 not fall of 2004.

I just wanted to share. I'm not saying this is the one. I found this on the page we have seen before at club-aristo but the picture is new. I hope this has not been posted here before

Fredric, I haven't seen that pic before. I'm not sure I like it right away.

Don't worry all the other pictures on that page is fake so I don't think it's the real deal.

Still, that "potential design" is not as bad as some others that have been floating around.
