Instrument Cluster Not Functioning
I know there are a lot of threads on this subject and I've read about a dozen of them only to come to a dead on or a solution that does not solve my problem.
THE PROBLEM:
My instrument cluster stopped working when I removed it. The needles are stuck at 0, the back light does not light up, the trip and odometer does not come on, all instrument cluster light indicator are always on, tilt steering does not tilt when I stick my key into the ignition. The tilt function still works manually. When I turn on my headlights, my gear box and climate control light display does not turn on. All radio and electronic works properly.
WHAT I'VE TRIED:
I checked every single fuse in engine compartment, driver, and passenger junction box. They are all good. I removed and installed the cluster over two times (one of the guy fixed his problem in one of the thread this way). Went and got my battery checked and it was bad, got a new one, installed it and still no working cluster.
I haven't checked any relays.

Did you by any chance mess with your alternator? Check the plug and the wires coming out from the plug to the alternator.
I ran into a similar situation a few weeks back when I moved my alternator to change my water pump. I did not completely remove the alternator, I just removed the top nut to slide it aside and forgot to disconnect the plug to the alternator and all the wires came out of the plug leaving me with no power to the instrument cluster.
