Talking Woohoo! Picked it up today!!

Woohoo! I picked up my GS430 today at the dealer. I absolutely LOVE this car....and I can't believe that its mine. I've only had time to put 30 miles on the odometer (had 6 when I picked it up). I can't wait until I hit 1000 miles break-in to see how the power is delivered

HOWEVER, there's supposed to be a winter storm coming this way tonite.....DAMN! Looks like I'm not gonna drive it tomorrow...I'm not subjecting my new car to the cruelities of winter yet.

Welcome aboard Tranman!!! You have just bought one of the best overall cars in the world (the whole ownership experience - reliability, fun and good value).

It snowed here in Mississauga (near Toronto, Canada) pretty bad. Too bad I can't afford a winter beater just yet. I had to drive my GS to work. Was'nt bad though considering that I have all-seasons tires on the car.

Ah well, maybe next year I will buy some cheap old car for the winter (and hope it does not break down somewhere !! )

So what is your steering like? Tight and direct or very light and loose? Trying to figure out if a change was made on the GS430's for 2003.

BTW, what car did you have prior to this (for comparison purposes)

Thanks,
Doug

Well, I only have 40 miles on the car at the moment...from what I can tell, it's surprisingly pretty tight and direct...compared to my 1998 Eclipse GSX with lower profile 17's. If I turn the wheel just a little, the car starts turning.
