2001 GS whatcha think??
For those of you who remember the name you may remember my original post regarding the price
of a 00' GS400 I was looking to buy...Unfortunately while doing some in depth investigating someone
came along and bought my baby....
But I'm back......I have located a 01' GS430 blk/blk 30k , NAV, ML stereo, 17in chrome whls + all options along with the addition of L-tuned shocks and springs for $36k....Ok here goes the questions for you seasoned CL members...Oh yeah Thanks in advance for your replies...
Is that price good?
Does the addition of L-tuned shock / springs cause added tire wear? (camber)
Does this suspension upgrade cause tire rub? undercarraige scraping?
Has anyone heard of any recalls of this yr, make, model?

well how many miles does it have? also i bet it's not CPO right?
1) the price depends on the questions i asked above
2) yes they might cause the camber to be a bit off, thus the inner tire wears
3) nah, you won't rub
4) nothing major i heard of at all. and you still have plenty of warranty with that car

I bought almost the exact same car in December without the L-tuned stuff for almost the same price. My car has less miles though. That is a good deal. Keep in mind though, everything is always negotiable. I would bargain with them and see if you can get the price down. Even $500 is extra cash in your pocket that you can use to do some mods. Good luck. You won't be disappointed with the car.

it sounds like a good deal to me. even though the car has been lowered as long as u get it aligned and adjust the camber, u should be fine. plus the gs430 already has a stock adjustable camber.
